I saw the ENT specialist on Tuesday. He had some scary things to say, but it is almost Halloween, so who doesn't?
I will go in on Monday the 9th for a 6 hour surgery to remove all the cancer (that they can) and then we will start chemo and the pills to help me pretend that i will have a thyroid + calcium.
after this all should be well ... no real horrible lasting effects!

i can't believe you didn't tell me at church! i found out from nicole and i tried to call you on sunday but i have your old number. praying for you and hoping all goes well.
